    Deadpool’s hand drops from Peter’s jaw and wraps around one of his wrists, guiding a sharp claw to slice through the soldier’s bottom lip. His tongue runs over the cut, licking up the blood, and a manic glee spreads across his face.

    “First blood, Webs. Bet you just fucked the odds.” Peter can smell the rich, copper scent of it and it makes him dizzy. Deadpool drags Peter to his feet, swiping at the cut and smearing blood down toward the corner of his jaw. Peter tracks the movement with his eyes. “Now, kill me.”

    "—and I was sure it was about to be a sex pollen disaster, but thankfully," Wade says, knocking on his temple for good luck, "just some classic, springtime eau d'jizz from those pear tree things."

    Quite suddenly, the hand that he’d just dropped reached up and grabbed him by the collar of his suit. Before Deadpool could protest his innocence not warranting this attack, he was being yanked down on top of the -still very injured- Spider-Man.

    “Ooph.” He grunted and tried to pull up. “Woah, Spidey-Baby, I didn’t know you wanted me this bad.”

    No annoyed response or frustrated explanation came. Spidey only hugged him close and turned to cuddle into his side.

    He was still asleep, Deadpool realised.
