  Summary

  He noticed it when Kabru was making food for him. He didn't realize he was admiring Kabru from the other room, but he was. His eyes lingered too long, and he felt an itch at his throat and the familiar taste of blood pooling in his mouth. He lets himself let out a small cough, and before he knows it, he's holding a huge, thin, pink flower petal crumbled up and covered in saliva and blood.

  "Mithrun?" He hears from the kitchen. "You alright?"

  Mithrun crumples up the petal in his hand. "Yes."
