Summary
Satoru knew he was in over this head all these years, but never had he ever regretted it. There were definitely moments where he thought he couldn't handle it, but he didn't regret it. This was one of those moments. Satoru never took a parenting class or read any of those pastel-colored parenting books. He figured that the kids would be able to tell him what they needed, and he would be able to supply it and support them. Most times that worked. He never joined the school PTO or chaperoned on field trips. He was involved to a degree, so he never really talked to the other parents and guardians. He probably should've, he could use their advice now.
Maybe one of those moms would be able to tell him how to respond to Tsumiki's meltdown, tell him what to say, how to approach her, if he's supposed to comfort her or let her cry it out. He's so unbelievably lost when it comes to kids, it makes him wonder how he ever got this far?
Lord, they stress Satoru out.

Summary
"I didn't mean to hurt you," he says softly, fiddling with his sleeve. He could feel a pain pushing at the back of his eyes, a migraine working behind his skull. Maybe he needed Shoko next.
Suguru scoffs and rolls his eyes. He props his chin up, much to Shoko's dismay, and asks, "How're you going to be a jujutsu sorcerer if you feel bad every time you hurt someone? What happened to being the strongest sorcerer alive?"
He tries not to pout. "That's different..."
"Is it? What if I was the enemy, Satoru? Would you be able to hurt me?"
The question was laughable, and stupid, and if his mother heard it, she'd slap him upside the head if he said anything but yes. The words are already on his tongue, but he looks up and he sees that even Shoko had stopped her ministrations, looking at him with the same expectant expression that Suguru was. Would he? Would he be able to look Suguru in the eyes and kill him? Would he be able to look at Shoko and kill her? Was he really the strongest if he couldn't kill two people?
