“I hope you don’t feel like that again from now on,” Yeji said, eyes soft, voice even softer. “This room is the University’s, and the troupe’s, but most importantly it’s yours too. Come dance anytime.”
Ryujin bit the corner of her lip and looked up at the ceiling, hands on the floor kept her upper body propped.
The room was still.
Quiet.
And then…
“Will you be here then, too?”
Yeji answered with the same certainty she used with her precise calculations in class.
“If you want me to be.”
