Summary
The front door slammed open and Uhtred framed the doorway. He was half naked, dressed only in a thin pair of sleeping pants, hanging obscenely low on his hips. He gripped the doorframe tightly, his arms stretched out and his muscles bulging with the effort of staying put. Sihtric stumbled over himself at the sudden fierce assault on his senses. He trembled and moaned, standing there in the middle of the driveway in the pitch-black night. Uhtred narrowed his eyes more. "Boy!" He called out. "You have exactly three seconds to get in here."
Sihtric sucked in a sharp breath and nodded his head and hurried up the driveway. He practically jumped up the porch steps and didn't slow until he stopped in front of Uhtred. He couldn't help the tremble that ripped through him again at the waves coming off the man and the stare he was given and those eyes of his. Sihtric bit his lip and he wanted to drop to his knees right there and beg to be able to worship this God in front of him. And Finan, as well. Gods, he just wanted to touch them both. He yearned for it and ached for them both.

He smiles, tilts his head back, and keeps his eyes on the boy. “I’m not some trembling omega that will bare his neck for any alpha that comes sniffing at me.”
