Summary
In which Wriothesley, owner of a wildlife rescue and sanctuary, rescues a weird-looking not-gopher in a pool, which leads him down a strange mystery involving a government conspiracy, an illegal smuggling ring, and a Iudex that has disappeared from the office, sending Fontaine in a frenzy. Little does he know, the missing Iudex Neuvillette is a lot closer to him than he realizes.
(All he has to do is look closer at the fluffy otter creature currently curled against his chest, shamelessly using his pecs as his pillow.)

Summary
“Nngh-ah,” Neuvillette gasped, turning over from his stomach towards bright fluorescent ceiling lights. He brought an arm up to shield his eyes and realized that not only was he in his dragon hybrid form, but that he was also completely naked.
Pushing down the feeling of panic that threatened to bubble up in his throat, Neuvillette instead began to survey his surroundings. Besides four walls and a large pane of reflective glass directly across the wall that Neuvillette found himself chained to by the ankle, the room was totally empty. The spotless, clinical whiteness of the space was almost blinding, and the harsh scent of disinfectant irritated the dragon’s sensitive nostrils.
Neuvillette took a deep, trembling breath, trying to gather his racing thoughts, to think of anything he could use to escape, of just who might have put him here and what they had planned. Luckily or unluckily, his questions did not remain unanswered for long.

Summary
Wriothesley inhales, but before he can say or do anything, Neuvillette sits up. Silver hair cascades down his naked body, all graceful lines and supple curves; so beautiful that Wriothesley forgets to breathe for a second.
Neuvillette turns toward him. His smile is knowing as he lifts a hand to trail down Wriothesley’s stomach, stopping just short of his crotch.
‘I’m sure my beloved husband can think of other activities to make this birthday more…’ Neuvillette considers, ‘fruitful.’
Wriothesley decides to deliver Neuvillette’s birthday gift in bed, after peeling off all his clothes, with his mouth.

Summary
An old Inazuman proverb says: “Though the fool waits, the day does not”.
Actually, that proverb might not have actually come from Inazuma – much unlike Monsieur Neuvillette’s handsome friend whom he met during the previous year’s Fontinalia Festival – and whom he strangely forgot to mention to Wriothesley this entire time.
Wriothesley ends up accompanying the two on Mr. Ayato’s sightseeing tour, and quickly realizes that for *some* reason, he can’t stand him. No, he’s not jealous. That’d be ridiculous! He’s far too old for that. It’s not like he’s even in love with Neuvillette, or—
Okay, fine. He might be in love with him. So, what now? He’s got his own reasons not to confess, but is he just supposed to sit there and watch that sleazeball steal his man? And what kind of FREAK adds tapioca to his tea, anyway?!Well, as another Inazuman proverb would say: “The words unspoken leave the commissioner wishing some people would just get a room and stop taking their sexual frustration out on him”.
