Eddie was well aware he had missed his chance. He knew it the second Buck told him he was bi and Tommy had kissed him. He knew it when Buck had spent a good chunk of Chim’s bachelor party talking about how hot Tommy was. He knew it when he’d made out with Tommy in a hospital waiting area before coming back to celebrate Chim and Maddie’s nuptials. Eddie knew all of this so well, almost as well as he knew Buck. And yet… And yet he still managed to be absolutely crushed by the news of Buck and Tommy’s engagement a year later.
or Eddie is asked to be Buck's best man and everyone around them is begging Eddie to stop this trainwreck from happening.

Summary
When Buck jumps off a bridge to save a little girl during a call he winds up with a month off work and a slew of people coming to the Diaz house to take care of him and force him to rest. He's not going to admit how nice it is.
He would also like to point out- for the record- that he technically jumped out of a bus. It just so happened to be hanging halfway off a bridge at the time.
