This is based on Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach, the ending where only Gregory and Freddy escape while the fire burns the building down.
Scarlet Jones was so curious how a children's play place burned down suspiciously and the company brushes it off. Eventually she will rebuild those that have been discarded and piece together what truly happened that night. Maybe even find parts of her she never knew about.
One the thing seems to be clear, "These larger companies can suck my ass."

Summary
In this world, the war between Humans and Monsters never happened. This has allowed them to grow closer and begin to cross breed via a rare process called Resonance, which involves Souls looking for other Souls with matching or similar frequencies. This creates such a loving and powerful bond that when the short-lived Human dies first, the grief their Monster partner feels Breaks their Soul, killing them and allow the two to be buried together.
However, you're about to find out that this process doesn't always work as intended. When your Soul Resonates with your new neighbor Sans, he appears to have a panic attack and takes off.
Despite that, there's an irresistible pull between you two and you're willing to do all you can to have a relationship with him--- even if you're not the one who finally Breaks him.
