    “You’re doin’ good, Buck. All good here, so good.” Eddie's words are soft, his voice hushed and gentle. He's subconsciously trying not to spook Buck, to scare him away.
    “Yeah?” Buck mutters, the words sounding incredible to him. “Yeah, good.” He twists, uncurling just a tad so that Eddie's face is free and his own is back against Eddie's neck, closer this time. He can feel the hot air and the twitch of Buck's lips when he exhales against his collarbone, and he genuinely believes he's going insane.

    Eddie has to take a deep, steady breath to balance himself. He runs over all of his options in his head, but at this point, he's so exhausted, both physically and mentally, that he can't find it in himself to give a shit anymore.

    or;

    Buck comes over to comfort Eddie after a rough shift. This is NOT how you comfort someone.

Content with Buck’s recovery and return to work, Chris being back in the swing of things at school, he wasn’t even worrying about Abigail every passing moment either. He was happy - dancing in his underwear happy; realising Buck was his juice happy.
