Summary
neil sedaka's calendar girl always strikes me with capricious yearning and a good chunk of people were following me on tumblr at the start of the new year. it felt like a lot to me, so i made this series to celebrate.
each fic is inspired inspired by that months corresponding lyric. and i intend to do a maximum of 4 for each month! all open slots are up for grabs so, if you'd like to see a specific character for a month or have a different take for one i've already done, pls do share <3

Summary
When Miles Miller got discharged from hospital he was prepared to disappear, the weight of the El Royale a loadstone around his neck. But when a stranger, one Mr Straker, offers him a job he seizes the chance to become a better person. Newly settled in Salem's Lot, he works tirelessly to help his boss, the days gentle and fulfilling, until one day a famous writer enters his shop, drawing Miles out of his self imposed exile and unknowingly into the cruel underbelly of the Lot.
