Summary
The University of Piltover Fencing program is the best squad in Runeterra, and Caitlyn Kiramman — possibly the greatest sabre to ever compete — is up for grabs in the recruiting portal. What's more, the school's struggling hockey program is on the radar of the projected number one pick of the 2023 draft, the aggressive and versatile defenseman Vi Warwick coming straight from a junior division championship. With those two at the center, Piltover Athletics assembles what might just become the greatest generation of athletes to ever come through the university.
alternatively, fencing legend cait and dual sport athlete vi meet as teammates and fall in love (this is a caitvi fic this should be obvious) while navigating their futures as public figures in runeterra. ts a seminar on dating in college when you have no idea what you want out of your own life but the whole fucking world expects something from you, manifested as a college fencing au that occasionally masquerades as a hockey au and then becomes full on domestic fluff. also featuring the best fucking friend group to ever exist. i hope you enjoy

Summary
“So that’s why I bring Violet Wickett up,” says the first, feminine voice, “because there’s two things that have defined Vi her entire career. How hard she plays as a forward, especially on defence, and her rivalry with Caitlyn Kiramman.”
“See, if I’m Mel Medarda, I’m not even giving Wickett another glance. I’m taking Kiramman with my first pick and grabbing from the end of the Ironfist’s bench.”
“That’s what makes this so delicious, though, Jack. Mel Medarda can get both of them.”

Summary
Formula 1 isn’t just about speed—it’s about precision, strategy, and control.
Caitlyn Kiramman embodies all of that and more. As the reigning world champion, she’s untouchable: poised on and off the track, her reputation gleaming as brightly as the Mercedes she drives. But everything changes when Vi Lanes—a scrappy, fearless rookie straight out of Zaun—bursts onto the scene, bringing chaos, confidence, and a driving style that ignores every rule Caitlyn lives by.
“I’m not here to challenge anyone,” Vi says with a grin. “I’m here to win.”
The media is already spinning their rivalry as the story of the season, but what starts as competitive tension begins to unravel into something deeper and far messier. As the spotlight intensifies, Caitlyn and Vi are forced to confront not just their places on the circuit, but the parts of themselves they’ve kept buried—whether they’re ready to or not.
Because on the track, there’s no hiding. And the line between love and rivalry is razor-thin at 200 miles per hour.
