No big declarations. No dramatic music swell.
Just the quiet weight of someone choosing to hold his hand.
Hirose’s breath catches in his throat, eyes flicking between Nakamura’s blushing profile and their now-joined hands.
And then he smiles even wider."

.Or: Hirose tries to figure out how to woo Nakamura by doing stuff and following tips he found online. Somewhere along the way, he figures they might already be more than just friends and... he’s probably right. :)

"Then why is it on the floor all of a sudden?" Hirose asks, his amusement still dancing in his eyes.

'Inside, the lighting is softer and dimmer than usual. It casts a glow that invites him into the welcoming space.
"Welcome home, I tried to make tea since— Woah..."
Hirose is sat down at a table, dressed down in sleepwear, looking comfortably tired in the warm, lived-in space of their apartment. He also gives off a similar glow. It makes the contrast between them even starker. Nakamura, dripping wet and shivering in the doorway, and Hirose, cozy and dry, surrounded by the scattered papers of his students' assignments.'

.Or: Nakamura forgot his umbrella while it was pouring outside and is now a freezing mess but it's okay since Hirose is there to keep him warm.
