A figure, hunched over in the doorway, panting. She's swearing grey sweatpants, loose and slung low on her hips, showing off long, long legs, and—Fahlada notes, as the girl straightens, still catching her breath—a tank top that reads: SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA.
It wouldn't be atypical attire in a lecture theatre elsewhere in the same building. But compared to the fitted athleisure most others in the gym are sporting, the girl sticks out like a sore thumb.
The most significant detail of her outfit, though, is the oversized varsity jacket stretching over her shoulders.
Fahlada's eyes trail up to her face, placing her instantly. Knows what the jacket will read if the girl turns around:
