Betrayal bubbles underneath Deja Blu Team, and regret won't follow it.
A marine at heart, you have fought your way through countless battles. South America, Africa; now, Pandora. You were so sure of yourself, of your mission. Earth needed a savior, a place to take refuge, they told you that your team could make that happen. Kill Jake Sully and hammer the Insurgence, those were the goals.
Whaling was not part of your mission, however, even if Quaritch insisted on means to an end. And, while his apparent discomfort soothes your worries, you're not sure if the ends really do justify it. The entire team was lost, save for Wainfleet. Doubt creeps in, twists your head. Gets into you and eats you whole.

And fear that comes from having seen those bird-winged ones lift ironclad soldiers into the air and throw them around effortlessly, you think, but you don't say this because she's looking at you with the widest eyes you've ever seen on a person and besides, it sounds like an almost impossibly sweet deal. You'd be an idiot to turn this down.
