Suho, on the other hand, has made his way around the bar, now sitting in Baku’s old seat, his body facing the pool table completely.
Another shiver makes its way down Sieun’s spine, his arms now covered in goosebumps from the intensity of Suho’s gaze. Suho’s arms are resting on the bar, looking at Sieun downright predatorily, like he’ll eat him whole as soon as he gets a chance.

Yeah, Suho wasn’t jealous.
Except, Sieun’s apartment was empty when he stepped foot in it. Sieun’s apartment was empty because Sieun was with Gotak. Gotak who was a little too similar to Suho. Loud, strong, and reckless. With a mouth that ran at a faster speed than his brain. Resilient, always standing up for what mattered. Most importantly, there for Sieun.
Suho was similar to Gotak. Or Gotak was similar to Suho. He was the original, he told himself. It wasn’t a competition… but it was. Because Sieun wasn’t with Suho, Sieun was with Gotak, and Suho wasn’t jealous.

gyuvin— he smells like apples, faintly sweet, just a little tart, just at the edges of the iron. ricky smells like milk, heavy and creamy and warm. yujin smells like rust more than anything, and it terrifies zhang hao. sometimes he has to grab him and hold him as close as he can, just so he can make sure he’s safe, just so he can remind himself that he’s strong enough to withstand. matthew smells like citrus.
matthew — he’s new, relatively speaking. to be fair, gyuvin and ricky and yujin and all the others that came with him are also new, when you look at it from the perspective of two hundred and seventy something years. zhang hao’s known a lot of people and he’s gotten to know a lot of scents. he’s known florals and fruits, people who’ve smelled like dust and earth and rain, people who’ve smelled like smoke, like cooked, savory meats.
