──────────────────Lelouch vi Britannia, the despised demon emperor, had been dead for two years. Suzaku Kururugi knew this to be the truth - he was the one who had driven a sword through his friend's body while Lelouch's bloodied hands stained the edge of his new mask. In the wake of Zero Requiem, Suzaku struggles with his position as Zero and the promise he made to his friend on that day. The task of abandoning his former self and throwing himself into the role of the Black Knights' leader had been far more lonesome than he expected.
Against Suzaku's wishes, the past has a way of coming back to haunt him.
