Illuga has two modes: working until he collapses, and feeling guilty about not working enough to collapse. He’s spent a lot of years perfecting those and running from his demons. He was gonna do that until the day he died and everything was gonna be fine. Really.
Until the gods threw a wrench into his plans.
Now, he needs a few new modes: resting (nightmarish), being taken care of (actual hell), and maybe not running from himself (absolutely unacceptable).

Illuga walked towards the city’s medical hall, willing himself to ignore the whispers and stares of people around him, so blatantly and openly gaping at him as he walked down the street.
