“Eh, when Langa and I had that big fight, I suddenly had a lot of alone time to do some thinking.”
“Oh yeah, a breakup will do that”, Miya says. “I’m glad you’re back together now, by the way. It was weird when you guys weren’t talking, I felt like a child of divorce.”
Reki freezes, the key inches away from the door lock.

Summary
He’d looked so pretty in the light of the street lamps and the stars that Reki almost fell twice on their way home. And he hadn’t gotten less pretty in the light of Reki’s bedside table. So really, who could blame Reki for pulling Langa in by the collar of his shirt? Months of friendship (and, let’s be honest, pining) had led up to this moment. And after Langa had kissed him back enthusiastically and they’d spend the rest of the night tangled up together in Reki’s bedsheets, no one could blame them for forgoing the second comforter on the floor.
Now Langa’s asleep, but Reki is far from it. There’s too much going on in his head (and his heart) for him to calm down enough to even close his eyes for more than a second.
OR: After Reki and Langa confess their feelings for each other, Reki lies awake at night, thinking about it.
