Summary
Organized crime is at an all-time high, which is exactly what your boss is interested in. Living in an unfamiliar place in order to appease your boss is only the first part of this whole adventure. The fact that you're supposed to stay to investigate this nonsense is one thing, and the shit pay is another.
There's also the recent issue of you receiving anonymous letters, gifts, and even envelopes filled with clips of cash. Now, you know better than to be complaining about this, but it's making your job more complicated than it already was. It's not like you can say no anyways, no one can deny gifts from a big name mobster. It's not like you have any chance of becoming attached to who you're investigating.
