Carol feels the confusion slip onto her face. Nervousness creeps up her spine again. “Me?”
“I know everything that anybody has ever thought about you, Carol. Every memory. Every feeling. Helen. Your ex-girlfriends. Your dentist. It’s like I have a Carol encyclopedia in my head.”
Carol had thought that she was done experiencing fresh horrors. What a nightmare it is to realize that she is not. “Oh, god.” She says.
“Oh, god,” Zosia agrees.
After they manage to break Zosia free of the hive, Zosia and Carol try to navigate the field of landmines that is their relationship.

“Alright.”
Dan leans over her desk, no introduction other than the one word, an interesting combination of exhausted and furious all at once. He wants to pretend he doesn’t notice the way she perks up with excitement, but he does manage to ignore the way she looks supremely self-congratulatory. It's difficult.
“Alright?”

Cameron really doesn’t want to fuck this up again. She was being honest when she said that working with Donna was the most fun she’s ever had, that she’s Cameron’s anchor, best partner, knows her brain and the way it works inside and out, and still wants her around. Again. After everything, they both still want to do this all over again.
That has to mean something monumental. Cameron can’t go on and fuck it up just because Donna is the hottest woman she’s ever known, and she keeps thinking about what it would feel like to press her down into a bed and kiss every inch of her skin.
