Summary
Mythical creatures were the norm in society and had lived amongst humans for decades. While they tended to gravitate towards their own species, it wasn’t unusual for people to enter mixed relationships.
Because of this, common facts were known about different mythicals. Just as the sun shined, it was known that vampires drank blood, werewolves could transform into wolves, and mermaids had tails. Some facts that weren’t common knowledge, however. Things such as courting rituals and customs, for example, were not well known amongst species outside of the one they belonged to.
The problem with that, however, was that, as a fairy, Sunoo was clueless about werewolf courting.
OR, the five times Jay tried to court Sunoo and the one time Sunoo courted him back.

Summary
There’s two reasons why Sunoo hates working part-time at his cousin’s cafe. One: they don’t sell any mint chocolate chip products. Seokjin and his husband abhor the existence of mint chocolate chip even though it’s the best flavor in the world (according to Sunoo’s standards). And upon knowing that, Sunoo realized that it’s discriminatory against people who enjoy mint chocolate chip (like him).
Two: he always gets tongue-tied when taking a specific customer’s order. Specific customer’s name happens to be Sunghoon—a new face in town. Sunghoon is a tall guy with fair skin that looks like porcelain. But it’s contrasted by his dark brows and dark lashes. He also has dimples—Sunoo’s ultimate weakness—and he’d always speak so softly to Sunoo. In short, Sunoo gets distracted whenever Sunghoon is at the cafe.

Summary
“Sunghoon-ah, did you know there’s a god sleeping beneath this mountain?”
“I don’t think that’s possible, Halmeoni.”
“My, my, you are the only kid I know who doesn’t believe in magic.”
“It’s fake! Like on TV! If magic were real, people would... I don’t know… probably live forever?”
“Silly child. You shouldn’t wish for eternity.”
When Sunghoon chose to fly back to Korea and live at his grandmother’s old home, waking up a dormant mountain god was the last thing he had in mind.
