Summary
Captain Moses spiralled. She's been doing that ever since they'd fled the battlefields, really, but it's gotten so much worse since their recent fight. She'd told her about Dias, and what did Ezra do? She just made her feel so much worse, when the Captain was already in an abysmal state.
Ezra wouldn't silently hole up in 'her' room playing victim anymore, wouldn't run from responsibility. She still didn't get why Moses did what she did in the past, why she'd danced to Dias' tune all that time when she saw how awful things had been, but... She could guess. She had her right to be upset, but what would that accomplish, really? The Captain had severed her ties to their tormentor, which had clearly been very painful. But she still did the right thing! So Ezra, now, could attempt in turn to help her make it hurt less. And maybe then this would all be over, and they would be happy.
