Summary
It's 1960s when Juno Steel is an ex-ranger in the tiny town of Hyperion, Washington. Yes, he knows there's weird stuff going on in the forest -- he's known since he first wandered into it. And even though he lost his ranger job (he had a... tendency to yell at the tourists) he still does what he can to keep things under wraps. Things are going pretty smoothly, until a handsome and all-too-curious stranger stops for a meal at the local diner, and Juno finds himself inexplicably offering to show him around. He takes him to the local motel, heads back to his place, and -- wait, shit, what was his name?
Well, Juno learns his name. And he learns a lot of other things, as the cryptids seem to have as much of an interest in Peter as Peter has in them. And, well, Peter has a lot of interest in Juno, too.
