When the cell door opens and Chief Justice Neuvillette walks in, Childe is hardly surprised. After all, the man has been here several times, apologizing for delays in the Oratrice investigation and asking if there’s anything Childe needs. What does shock him is that Zhongli is right behind Neuvillette, strolling into the prison cell as casually as though he was taking a stroll around Feiyun Slope.
Childe and Zhongli assist Neuvillette with a biology problem, and Childe finds himself soft-hearted for yet another overworked middle-aged dragon.
