Summary
Beca Mitchell, a seventeen year old girl, who has lost her parents, is amazing in writing songs and playing music but doesn't think she's good enough. Once famous producer Luke Beale comes to Barden High with his even famous daughter Chloe, Beca tries to impress them.
Chicago, Beca's cousin, wants to impress Chloe as well but find out he's unsuccessful because Chloe has more eye for Beca. Together with his mom, Chicago threatens Beca and forces her to help Chicago win over Chloe by pretending that he is a good singer.
Beca, afraid to lose the only place she has left from her parents, agrees to help him but it's getting harder by the time since her own feelings for Chloe comes in the way.
