Summary
Mary Winchester survived the night Azazel entered Sam's bedroom, and so she's there to watch John's obsession begin.
Attempting to keep her children safe, Mary tells her husband that they can't hunt the way he wants to. Instead of accepting that, John hits the road - taking the newborn Sam with him - to find the creature that destroyed their home, leaving Dean to be raised Mary's way.
Both put out fantastic hunters, but this difference will change the entire world.
