Summary
“Ahhh, I'm going to lose my mind! Do you think they forgot about us?” Rudo asked, gnawing on his thumb.
Indeed, the night was fast approaching, judging by the tiny patch of sky visible from the bottom of the tunnel. Tamsy's eyes bore into Rudo's face — he was easy to read when anxious. This was only the second time Rudo brought something to his mouth and it gave Tamsy a wicked idea.
(He really shouldn't, though. It was ill-advised, a mad gamble.)
“Rudo… You mustn't bite your lip or your thumb like that.”

After a mission goes wrong, Tamsy and Rudo are momentarily trapped in an underground tunnel.
