Summary
Dean wants to catch this moment in a bottle. It’s not something he ever thought he’d have. He’s used to cooking for other people, but never with anyone. The closest he ever came was with Lisa, but that had always felt like borrowed time. It had never truly felt like his. The threat of his old life always hung over them, ready to sink its teeth in. And it had. But now? Now he might actually get to have this. He wants it so badly that part of him wants to turn and run in the other direction. He’s never wanted anything this badly in his life. He’s never let himself.
In which most of 15x20 was a dream, Cas is back from the Empty, and he and Dean take the first steps in navigating this thing called love. Also, Dean teaches Cas how to make scrambled eggs.
