Summary
“Are you okay?” was the first thing Link signed as he lingered close, mere moments after catching her from the fall and bringing her to the plush green grass.
The feeling of grass… the texture of the blades held Zelda’s focus. She flexed her fingers and squeezed, the ends of the blades poking her palm.. The sensation felt new, yet familiar. She felt as if she’d just been born, but also as old as the earth itself. Needless to say, it was overwhelming.
It occurred to her that Link awaited an answer. She peered up at him, her jade eyes wild, still with a touch of that animalistic gaze she carried in her draconic state.
(A character study of Zelda finding herself again after the events of Tears of the Kingdom, because I don’t believe for one second that she would awake perfectly normal after thousands of years of being a dragon.)
