Summary
Desperate to escape a bad situation, George impulsively takes a last minute job serving as a fire lookout in the Montana wilderness. He's expecting nearly five months of complete solitude as he keeps watch for fires by day and tries to heal from his past by night. What he's not expecting is a chatty neighbor in another fire tower twenty miles away. Dream is an experienced ranger tasked with keeping an eye on the new guy, but as they talk day by day over the radio, getting to know and slowly trust one another, something new starts kindling beneath the surface. It’s not his fault he doesn’t know, if he’d had a way to, uh, experiment, he’d surely have figured it out by now.
As it is, George is a virgin, and when Dream agrees to help him learn his way around? How can he say no?
The fact that he’s desperately in love with Dream has nothing to do with it, and absolutely won’t cause any problems, no way. George has everything under control.

“George, you’re fucking memeing me.” Rolling his eyes, he grabs Sapnap’s ankle and grabs a pinch of hair and tugs. “Hey!” Sapnap shouts, pulling his leg away and rubbing at the spot with a pout.
“Don’t be such a piss baby.” George tells him coolly, keeping up a front and hoping Sapnap will drop the subject.
“Me? A piss baby? Bro, you’re a fucking virgin.”

Summary
As George retreats, typing something silently into the computer, Dream can’t help but wonder if it would be easier to flat out ask the athletic nurse out after all.
They’ve been at this for nearly half a year now. This… thing they’ve got going. Half a year of quick-witted flirting, lingering touches. It’s a comfortable cycle. Dream fucks up in a game and sprains, or pulls, or bruises something, then runs to George to fix it- George, with his kind hands and hidden smiles. All the while Dream slips in cheesy pick up lines and teasing remarks to make George laugh or roll his eyes or call him an idiot.
He loves when George calls him an idiot.
