Responsibilities, rankings, fame. The concepts of which no pro hero was a stranger to. Much less to the ex-students of Class 1A, who had, objectively, trained in the golden era of heroes.
It’s hard to say it isn’t enjoyable, addicting even, to bathe in the validating rays of golden light, to be admired like your childhood heroes. But it is easy to lose yourself, and many heroes understand just how grounding it can be to simply chat with another when crossing paths between events.
It provides a similar sensation to how the kids might say, uh, touching grass?
Therefore, when the huge [Tech and Mech] expo event for showcasing new hero technology popped up in Germany, everyone cleared up just enough time to attend the week long event, to meet up with old schoolmates, to snag some hot new gossip, or in Iida’s case, figure out whatever the hell had been going on between Todoroki and himself for the past 12 years.
TLDR; Iida and Todoroki deal with their gay shit.
