Summary
It’s as if living in a world where the fey are supreme isn’t enough.
They trade through tithe, wordplay, kisses and gifts; suitably pretty trinkets that they deem to be enough and in return, they live in a world where humans are their toys and carers. Some are pests, sleeping and feeding on the weeds in his small garden in the balcony; others are more demanding, miracle workers and dream stealers. Everything has a price, and the most powerful are willing to twist it as much as they can. Others won’t care and live in dalliance, serving as lanterns at night because they can’t help but glow, however they feel and chant to the stars. Some will be more vengeful and leave handprints on the windows, difficult to wash away; they are the pettier creatures, fickle to their nature, a slender grin playing on the curve of their cheeks.
The residents of Tobiume Hotel are just trying to get by, and struggle to maintain the frayed edges of their humanity.

Summary
There's no perfect way to grow up. There's no handbook, no guidelines, nothing. It's defined by the mistakes you make, the friends you have, the way you change from ten to twenty. Maybe it's a process even longer than that.
At ten, Karin is a tomboy, reckless and wild. At fifteen, maybe not much. Her hair is shoulder-length, she wears skirts with ease, and hell, she even uses cosmetics these days. That's not to say she doesn't enjoy playing soccer anymore, or that she's stopped button mashing and beating her friends easily, though.
People change in the span of five years. But how much difference does five years really make?
(In which Karin turns gorgeous, gets in touch with her feminine side, and gets sidetracked by a lot of mixed signals. And it's not like Toushirou is perfect handling the situation either.)
