Summary
And when Shouyou says physical affections, everything that falls under the category of what is physical, skin-to-skin contact, they’ve done it. Shouyou enjoys it too, likes it, revels in the shower of affection Kageyama is giving him. He’s even a little bit smug that he’s the only one who has ever seen this hidden gem within Kageyama’s personality, that beneath the armor he hides himself in, there’s something gentle and soft and affectionate, completely opposite to the superficial sharp edges and glacial intensity. Shouyou likes the exclusivity of it, the knowledge that he’s the sole person who has the privilege to experience this rarity, a piece of Kageyama no one else has partaken before.
There's a distinct line between friends and lovers and Hinata and Kageyama are currently standing on the vast, grey space of ambiguity.

Summary
But Kageyama’s a cool dork, and Shouyou sort of wants to tell him this in a burst of emotion, but the words get stuck. “I want two by the way,” he says instead.
“Why do you get two?”
“Because I,” Shouyou says dramatically, “am your favourite.”
Then he rocks up onto his tippy toes so that he can reach Kageyama’s face, his body moving without consent from his brain. He plants a smooch – quick and playful – on Kageyama’s cheek, only just remembering to add a loud “mwah!” to make sure Kageyama knows that he’s only teasing.

Summary
Kageyama Tobio met a boy when he was 15. He was loud, greedy, and selfish in all the ways possible. He was demanding, impatient, reckless, and everything Kageyama wanted nothing to do with.
Hinata Shouyou has always lived on a parallel with him, forever on the same trajectory—yet never intersecting—that is, until he finds himself repelling, attracting, bending, until their lives intertwine so deeply that Kageyama cannot tell his story without him.
This is how he met Hinata Shouyou when he was 15.

Summary
"He was aware of the itch he’d feel before he shook his head or scrunched his nose. He recognized the impulse to move, but he didn’t realize how compulsive the behaviors had become. He had to shake his head. He had to scrunch his nose. He had to shrug his shoulders over, and over, and over.
It wasn’t until he was nine-years-old that Shouyou realized he couldn’t control his movements like other kids could."

Summary
Hinata felt hollow, suddenly, like his heart and lungs had deserted his body, leaving a dark, vacant chest cavity. He always figured he would feel different after his first time. He wondered when exactly, during their three years together, he had fallen in love with Kageyama. And why he didn’t realize until now.
