Summary
Ever since the shutdown at Gardenview, one distressed bookworm has been struggling to find his place in his new reality. With Dandy's Ichor Operation looming over his head and his friends seeming more distant to him than ever, it isn't long before Squirm begins wondering just how long he can withstand these unwelcome changes. Leave it to one shy, friendly (and totally unsuspecting) box Toon to show him that, underneath all the scars, ichor, and suffering, there is hope to be found in the form of friendship.
Or
Boxten takes it upon himself to comfort Squirm during the difficult post-Gardenview shutdown period. Hurt/comfort + angst and feels abound!
Was written as a part of my Ink and Memory AU, but can be read separately from it as my interpretation of canon lore.

Upon hearing the news, Sylvia Miller and Maddie Trenton, best friends and huge fans of the show Dandy's World, instantly become excited for this upcoming field trip. The two orphans can't wait to visit the museum once again, but they also can't wait to unfurl the thrilling surprise that is awaiting them there. Just how exhilarating could this celebration get?
