“Wh-what’s going on?” Julian asked in a slightly trembling boice. Before he could finish the question, Niko leaned in and placed a soft, reassuring kiss on his cheek.
He glanced between Niko and Marco, uncertain, trying to read their expressions. There was clearly some hidden communication between them. The room seemed to shrink around him and his breath got shaky as he found himself at the center of a situation he couldn’t fully comprehend.
