Summary
“How do you keep your balls from freezing off?” The boy, Gendry, asks.
“You gotta keep moving, that's the secret.” Tormund explains. “Walking is good. Fighting is better. Fucking is best.”
“There's not a living woman in within a thousand miles in here.” Jon intervenes.
“We have to make do with what we've got.” The wildling says with a big smirk on his face, and so Gendry watches them leave with the awkward sensation that he's just missed something.

Picking up where GRRM left us.
This story is written solely on book canon. I have never watched the show further than the first one and a half seasons. Mainly because of changes in the plot but also because of characterizations I couldn't recognize from the books.
This is an ASOIAF version, with a continuation of GRRM's plotlines.
Book one:
Part one - ch 1-17 (the fanficish beginning)
Part two - ch 18-24 (where I started truly writing)
Part three - ch 25-33 (flowing)Book two:
Part one - ch 34-41 (embracing)
Part two - ch 42-49 (expanding)Book three:
Part one - ch 50-?NLaMS was first posted in 2011-2014.
It's been updated from ch 35 in 2021-2022.Big parts of this story have been translated into Russian and French.

My personal take on a Blackwater AU. This story is much darker than my other stories, and the wording is according. Moments of fluff and humour will be found, too, but on the whole there is more violence and tragedy. Multiple POVs.
