Summary
This is the tale of Vynathr, the Warrior of Light. Or rather, the beginning of it.
(My current plan is to simply cover my WOL's experiences through early ARR in more detail than the game. I will edit this as I go. I do not have a strict upload schedule. I hope you like it!
Also, this fic is a first draft, and the beginning especially is not the best. I plan to go over this again, with better pacing and such, but publishing a chapter at a time keeps me motivated to keep writing this first draft. The finished version will be a different fic.)

Summary
Had Vynathr been asked merely a few months ago, he would not have anticipated living in a mansion of books and finery with anything he could ask for. He had, after all, merely been an adventurer. One with the lofty title of Warrior of Light, but an adventurer nonetheless, who had only been sleeping in a somewhat comfortable bed for about a year. And yet here he was, in the house of the Ascians. He was not yet aware why exactly he was so welcome and cared for, but that would soon change.

Summary
Vynathr, the ex-Warrior of Light, has long since become comfortable with being the Ascian's shared pet. They, in turn, have become used to the things he enjoys most. One of said things is, of course, being as useful as possible when they're too busy to go find a more inanimate urinal.

Summary
A Useful Warrior is the main fic, with all other parts of the series being offshoot "sidequests" if you will, whether because they don't fit in the main story for whatever reason or because they focus on a specific kink that might be a little too hardcore even for the main fic. Enjoy!
