Summary
The Bracken family is known for their nearly undefeated equestrian sportsmanship, collecting trophies and medals to almost put them on the map. The Blackwood family have been cattle ranchers for generations and easily turn a profit every year. However, when their rivalry gets in the way of profits, the Tully family stops it. Both families are left with no choice but to comply with Tully's wishes and send a few members from each family to help settle the matter.
Just returning from his first year at college, Aeron Bracken is forced to spend his summer under the same roof as his childhood bullies. Aeron has changed a lot since going to college and he finally found himself and discovered things that his family and small town might not like.
Trouble comes in the name of Davos Blackwood, practically dashing any hopes that Aeron had of trying to salvage any summer fun. While Aeron has changed, so has Davos too. Since when did Davos get so tall, strong, and rugged? Since when did Aeron start to think about calloused hands? Dark hair and burning eyes? And when did he start to feel a pang of jealousy when those dark eyes looked at anyone other than him?

The words appear on Jace’s wrist the day he comes of age.
He is awake, just after midnight, when they begin to show. The lines start their slow spread with a light prickle, stinging as though someone is scratching his skin with the point of a quill. Jace watches the black scrawl travel from left to right, top to bottom, with a breath caught in his throat.
There it is, stark as blood on the edge of a dagger.

Summary
“Are you finished?” he asks and Aeron is at his breaking point.
Aeron screams at him, savage and deep from the chest. Instead of hitting him again though, he finally draws his dagger and goes running, shoulder crashing into the other boy, knocking them both to the floor.
“You bastard, I'll fucking kill you,” Aeron cries, full of anguish,sitting on Davos’ chest, his dagger is clutched in both hands high above their heads, ready to drive it down into the Blackwood's throat.
“You're so beautiful,” Davos says, reverently, still unmoving, ready to let Aeron end him.
Or
Davos and Aeron run away from a Tournament together.
