Summary
Issac and Bella had always been inseparable since birth, but everything changed with the divorce of their parents. Bella got Renee and Issac got Charlie. That's where things started to go downhill for Issac, a young trans boy. Between Charlie holding his gender identity over his head as an unreachable goal and his classification not being what Charlie wanted Issac has had a rough childhood, but that's okay cause Bella was safe from their dad's rage, from his drinking and demining words. But that all changes on January 10th, 2005 when Charlie gets the phone call that his ex-wife has died in a car accident and Bellas going to come and live with him. How will Issac and Bella survive their dad's wrath, will Issac keep his classification a secret from Bella, and what is with those Cullen kids that moved in at the beginning of the school year? They've been watching Issac for a while but with Bella in town, things seem to be escalating.

Because that was the point, wasn't it?
Buck didn't know how to be a son because he was never anyone's baby; just a reminder of what his parents had lost.
He knew that, but what scratched the walls of his brain was the annoying thought that crept under his skin and whispered the fateful question: did Bobby also see him as nothing more than what his kids could have been?

Buck didn't let go of his brother-in-law's hand, deciding it was his new fidget toy. Meanwhile, Chimney watched him curiously, trying to piece together his behaviour into something tangible.
"Glad you didn't go bye bye. No want you to go."
Chimney felt his heart ache.
"No wanna lose big brother."
OR- Buck is still recovering emotionally from the lab incident, despite everyone making it out alive, so in comes Chimney to try make it all better (as much as he can anyways)
