Luke had his cheeks propped up by his hands, a large text book was opened in front of him with bunched up parchments scattered on the table. His eyes were closed and mouth half-opened and he looked utterly adorable and Michael wished he could just snap a picture but of course he couldn't because electronic devices didn’t work here (fuck you magical veils of protection).
Suddenly, Luke’s head lurched forward and his eyes snapped open right before he face-palmed the table. And when he looked up, the first thing he saw was Michael –who was just downright staring at him.
