You had always known that involving them would have been a high risk, high reward gamble. In hindsight, you should have realised sooner that your goals could be accomplished through subtler pawns.
Not that Jo Sawashiro was much better, but at least the man was amenable to your offer and happy to take action. He was all too eager to accept your proposal to exonerate him and leave his cell behind when you granted him a chance to redeem himself and secure the loose ends of Masumi Arakawa's legacy.
Sawashiro's name wasn't exactly legendary, but he had still been the right-hand man of the acting captain of the Omi Alliance before it was disbanded, and the founder of its short-lived husk in the form of the Tokyo Omi Alliance. And you would milk that level of prominence for all it's worth.
