Summary
Jisung won’t stop staring at him. Minho knows, because he can see him out of the corner of his eye, even as he stubbornly refuses to look back. Because he can sense the weight of his gaze pressing onto him, heavy and hot to the feel.
In theory, knowing that Jisung is back in the city has made the concept of stepping out of the house just a little intimidating. In practice, Minho finds he’s entirely unprepared to handle the fact that none of his senses seem willing to process anything but Jisung.

or, Minho never got over Jisung, but that's not a surprise. Jisung unexpectedly returning three years after Minho broke both their hearts, however, is one.

Summary
The assistant director lays the stack of scripts down gingerly, perhaps almost reverently. Minho folds one hand over the other and hopes it will be enough to hide the slight tremor that he can already feel setting in. His eyes scan the front page, before returning back to the title. There it is, bold black on stark white, all capitalised: RED STRING THEORY.
He blinks. He doesn’t quite know what he had been expecting, but this is not that.

or, Minho has been Jisung's bandmate, best friend and self-proclaimed soulmate for years now — becoming his acting partner in an uncomfortably BL-adjacent drama won't change anything, surely.

Summary
Minho keeps a watchful eye on all movement, even as the crowd respectfully parts for them. They could never be in any real danger within the city walls, but the habit of being hypervigilant when it comes to Jisung is one he will never be able — or willing — to break.
He follows closely behind him, a shadow personified, and does what he does best: protects him.

or, Minho basks in the light of unrequited love for the man he has sworn to protect with his life, as duty and destiny loom overhead. Crown Prince Jisung, on the other hand, has never been one to yield to so-called fate.

Summary
Jisung moves to sit back, lost and discombobulated, but the hand that unexpectedly settles on the small of his back stops him in his tracks. Fingertips slip underneath the waistband of his sweatpants as the action throws him off-kilter, trapping him against the heat of Minho’s thigh.
When Minho speaks, he doesn’t even lift his gaze from his phone to look back at him. “Go on.”

or, three times Minho meticulously, lovingly pushes Jisung’s buttons, and one time Jisung gets him back threefold.

Summary
Pressure at the foot of the bed makes the mattress dip, and Jisung experiences what can only be described as waking up into a dream. His brain, foggy with short-lived and restless sleep, registers a number of things that might not make total sense but are received as facts, regardless: there’s a hand tugging at the waistband of his underwear, a pair of knees bracketing his own, and the distinct smell of fire in the air.
In the darkness of his room, ruby red eyes trail up Jisung’s body before locking on his own.

or, Jisung’s late-night visitor turns out to not be quite as imaginary as he originally thought.

Minho’s eyes roll all the way to the back of his skull as a gasp that is way too loud for comfort parts his lips. His fingers hurt, caught in between the wall and the edge of the desk in an effort to prevent them from thudding against each other, and yet the pain does nothing to dull the pleasure he’s trying his best to muzzle.
They are never doing this again, he vows to himself.
