"Right," Hitoshi snorts out. "Not even my own pa—guardians want me and you think he might. Funny, Neito, really."

Summary
Hitoshi freezes when he spots someone on his roof. For a moment, adrenaline kicks in, until he remembers that he’s at U.A. and that no unauthorized person could have entered without setting off all kinds of alarms, so whoever is on this roof with him, must be a student.
Indignation then courses through him, because this is his roof, how dare someone take that spot when it’s his one way of unwinding after a socially stressful day with the most friendly class he ever had the misfortune to know and it isn’t until he takes another step forward, prepared to call the person out, that he realises it’s Katsuki.
And in that very same moment, he sees the faraway look on his face, spots how he seems to be pushed down by some invisible weight and it’s only then that Hitoshi realises that Katsuki is sitting at the ledge of the roof, his legs dangling over the edge, slightly leaning forward as if he needs to get a better look down.

Summary
Hitoshi wakes up to a splitting headache and a parched throat. He groans, trying to keep his eyes closed because the pulsating pain is making him nauseous but he tries to think past it, tries to take stock of himself so he can figure out what the fuck happened.
"Finally awake, eyebags?" Bakugo's voice rings out, piercing in its volume and Hitoshi groans again. "Gods, don't be such a wimp," Bakugo grumbles, but it's notably more quiet and Hitoshi dares to blink an eye open.
Bakugo is standing next to his bed, the same displeased look on his face Hitoshi knows him with and it doesn't make any sense at all. Bakugo is not supposed to be here, because Hitoshi is very much in his own bed and no one is supposed to be at his apartment.

There's a split second where everything is silent as the glowing gets almost unbearable and Hitoshi watches how Aizawa whirls around, his eye wide as he pushes Yamada and the child's parents as hard as he can.
"Watch out!" he screams, effortlessly getting the entire restaurant's attention and then he turns back around to the child, his eye flickering red but it's too late.
There's an incredibly loud explosion and then everything is chaos.
