I finished this months ago but I have not stopped thinking about it since. I think this fic changed me and reshaped my understanding of love for the better, and for that I will forever be grateful. Everything came together so heart wrenchingly beautifully and this story has taken root in my heart in ways I was not expecting it to. And it has, to date, my favourite characterisation of gyubrik in a fic.
I will probably update this note when I reread it and it’s fresh in my mind, but for now here are my thoughts. (I have been reading fanfic for years but this is the first time I’ve bookmarked anything on here. I just really really wanted to wax some poetics and save this work that has come to mean so much to me 🥹.)
