Summary
Seventeen years after the fire, Una and Leofric return to Rexxentrum with their three small children. Una brought Winter's Crest home with them, but though it's time for cheer she still mourns her oldest son's "death." While out toy shopping, she meets a man about Bren's age named Caleb Widogast. Una gives him sipping chocolate as a love letter to her lost son, and offers some advice.
Caleb doesn't catch the older woman's name. He determines to pay back her kindness with gifts all the same, and drags Essek over to their house.
Angst and surprises ensue.
