His white-haired housemate’s pissed off expression sticks in your mind. “W-wait. You guys aren’t… together right?” you ask as he brings his face down to kiss gently at your jawline. “Because I don’t wanna-“
Suguru chuckles against your neck, sending a warmth through you that drips down like honey. “Don’t worry. He’s just mad I didn’t invite him to join in.”

“It is humorous," he smiles thoughtfully, lips pressed against the neck of the beer bottle. "When we were first introduced, I thought you were nothing more than a thief and a lowlife.”
“Compliment had better be comin’ soon,” you warn lightly.
“And now… Hmm,” he ponders, tipping his head back to take another sip. The sharp cut of his jaw is even more prominent against the dark cyberware at his throat. “You confuse me, V.”

“All ready, soldier?” Karlach asks, stepping forward to take your hand in hers. She beams as you reach up on tiptoes to kiss her on the cheek.
“Depends what you have planned for me,” you say, clasping her hand in both of yours as she leads you away from camp.
“Well… I haven’t had many first dates in my life,” she admits sheepishly, her engine lighting up a little brighter in embarrassment as you make your way through the streets of the Lower City. “Not exactly spoiled for choice in Avernus.”
“That’s okay,” you say earnestly. “That just makes this one even more special.”

“Don’t want to think about that now,” she says quietly, voice husky and low. Her eyes are looking at you from under heavy lids, her fingers gripping your hand harder. “You’re really pretty, y’know.”
It wasn’t posed as a question, and there was no time to answer, anyway. Without another thought, she leans back and pulls you on top of her with one strong, measured motion, and your lips collide for a first, burning kiss.
