Enid has her wisdom teeth removed under general anesthesia. When she wakes up still under the influence, she accidentally tells Weems that she and Wednesday are dating.
Weems doesn’t believe her, because there’s no way that Wednesday Addams is capable of that. But she also isn’t convinced that Wednesday is as cold hearted as everyone says.

Summary
“This isn’t going to be one of your eyebleeding makeover routines,” Wednesday says rigidly. “I need you to tear my throat out like the rabid dog that you are.”
Enid’s jaw drops low for two, three seconds, and she needs an extra moment to pick it up off the ground. “Okay, this is not how I expected our first kiss to go.”
Or: Wednesday is dying, shortly after saving Enid, and she's come to terms with that. Enid is certainly not okay with that, and decides to save her in return.

“I can probably, definitely change it all back,” Enid tells her. “All my old makeup's under my bed, but I wanted to stand out since it’s been a difficult past few weeks.”
“I’m aware,” she notes. “But you already stand out. You’re like maggots in an eye socket - most people can’t get you out of their brain—”
“O-kay. Too much.”
“I mean it,” she says. “That…includes me.”
Something deep and blooming finds its way to Enid’s ribs. She can feel heat, red-hot, spreading to her cheeks and burning the back of her neck. “Maybe you’re right. It’s just…maybe I’m cursed, too. I keep getting into awful situations. Awful relationships.”
That touches a nerve.
