Summary
It’s not like they’ve never used pet names before. In fact, they’ve called each other a variety of names over the years, most of them meant to be a quip or a joke, but still. Pet names are not a new concept for either of them.
This relationship, however, is.

Summary
"But we’re too good, Darcy, and I like to keep the good things I find. So let’s just…pick it up. We’ll keep in contact, and whenever we’re in the same city, we’ll find our way back to each other, like nothing has passed.”
“Elizabeth, we don’t know when we’ll see each other again,” he says, with a strange edge to his voice. Mournful, hopeful, warning, wanting. But the look in his eyes tells her that she has him.
“And I’m telling you to live your life, and I’ll live mine, and neither of us owes the other anything. Just when we can, you’ll look for me.” It makes sense, more than anything, and she likes the thought of still belonging to herself.
Eyes fixed on hers, Darcy lifts her hands slowly to his lips, laying light kisses upon them. “Okay. We’ll pick it up.”
The one where they're both always travelling, and it seems like the prudent thing to keep their relationship as something that only happens when they're both in the same place. And that's enough for them— until it isn't.

Summary
To her chagrin, Darcy wastes no time to come back with: “You think I’m hot?”
The car feels suddenly claustrophobic. “You’re infuriating, is what I think.”
“For the record,” he adds with an edge she can’t quite decipher, “I think you’re very attractive as well.”
The first time you have sex with a man you're supposed to hate, you could probably call it an accident. After the second, you might still argue that it's not something you plan to make a habit of. But Lizzie's running out of excuses, at this point. And sure. Maybe she's okay with that. She's not great at relationships anyway, and this means nothing, right?

Summary
I was trying to write Darcy being awkward and unsure about expressing himself even after Elizabeth accepts his hand. Not sure if it depicts that or not, but a short scene, set two weeks after their engagement.
Update: Somehow turned into a series. Chapter 3 added!

Summary
A small literary coincidence puts Darcy and Elizabeth on a quicker and easier courtship path, but as it turns out, marriage is only the beginning of getting to know one’s life partner. Can they open up to each other and build the bonds needed to survive a most unequal match between a young lady of little fortune and a member of the aristocratic elite?
