Summary
“Hajime—” His voice cracks as it catches in his throat, high-pitched and on the verge of mania. The sound of it immediately causes Iwa to pause, a furrow in his brows as he finally takes in his boyfriend’s haggard appearance.
“Tooru?” he says unsurely, and despite his anger, his arms fall open in an invitation for the other to draw close. Tooru immediately accepts. Flies into Iwa’s arms and buries his face against his chest. Grips the soft fabric at the back of his night-shirt and turns so that his nose is pressed right over Iwa’s pulse.
“Hey, hey,” Iwa says, as his right hand works its way under Tooru’s hoodie. Rubs comforting circles on the other’s bare skin in an attempt to calm Tooru down. “Baby, what’s wrong? Tooru, talk to me. What’s wrong?”
He gives a feeble cry as his legs give out and he collapses against Iwa. Surrenders all of his weight to the other and leaves Iwa to figure out how to hold them both up, exactly. “Tooru, you’re scaring me. What happened?”
Tooru did something bad. Iwa has no idea what. Still, he tries to comfort him.
