Post 1x06 - After leaving Siuan in exile, Moiraine finds a moment to grieve for all she's had to sacrifice for her quest to save the world. Lan, sensing her grief, brings her a cup of tea and a sense of comfort and hope.
'He gave her shoulder a slight squeeze, a wordless apology for startling her. Looking up at him, she realised that he was holding a cup of tea out to her. A rush of fondness flooded into her at the sight, and at his impeccable sense of timing. Finding a small smile from somewhere, she reached up and took the cup from him, cradling it within her hands, savouring the warmth.
Lan settled down beside her with a cup of his own. Moiraine had to take a moment to appreciate that, when she had told him to pack only the essentials, he had counted her tea-set as such.'
